Default The wonders of blueberry poop

If we had a poop subforum I would post this there....

E has recently discovered the joy of eating blueberries. We waited until a couple of weeks ago thinking she is now of an age where she can mash the skins well. She thinks blueberries are the greatest thing on the planet and voraciously plucks them with her pincers and once they are in her mouth smooshes her hand flat to make sure they stay. She will put 2-3 in her mouth so fast.

We were at the market today and when we got to the blueberries she shrieked "nanana" (which means food ) over and over and tried to fling herself at the cartons.

Some of you may remember me talking about E's constipation (since birth) but now she is pooping 2-3 times a day with no trouble and the poops bring a lot of joy to the house because they are the right consistency and we have a happy baby for the first time ever!!

All this in spite of their rank color and disconcerting blueberry smell.

DS is the same way with okra - it is a lovely green mess the day after he eats it...

Thats great news. Blueberries are a huge hit here too. Nothing like pulling blueberry skins out of your washer and dryer after diaper laundry.

I was eyeballing okra today. I am going to go back and buy some and cook it super soft. I bet it's fun to eat and if it brings poop it brings happiness.

I have been a little OCD about cleaning the poop diapers up right away. I use fleece liners and until recently the poops hardly happened so it was easy. I forgot a fleece liner this morning and she had a massive poop in a brand new BG.

That is so cool! I wish we had some we could pick!! Isn't baby poop a crazy thing? I'm always analyzing it. The blueberries are especially something.
