My DD is 19 months old and I was still nursing her to sleep and back to sleep whenever she would wake in the middle of the night. The past two nights she has woken up and when I tried to nurse her has just seemed completely uninterested. I can tell that its not a nursing strike because 1) she has still nursed once the past two nights and 2) she is not turning away from the breast, she just truly has no interest. I will try taking her finger out of her mouth and guiding her on but she just pops her finger back into her mouth and cuddles up to me. I do not think I am ready to be done nursing and I know that my DD is very young to wean herself. I am an emotional wreck and just dont know what to do about this situation.
