Hill that was really helpful and I always suspected that the nips were too long for her since mine are short. I'll have to check out the comfortlatch. I have the naturalatch and it seems long to me.

The movement seemed to distract her enough that she would drink from the bottle??
Oh yeah, BTDT. Also tried with her upright, tried a bunch of different holds.

Question Re: What Do You Do When They Won't Take A Bottle?

My lil DS wont take a bottle either. I only work 1 evening a week, but if my DH tries to give DS a bottle of EBM he acts like your trying to poison him or something. Luckily, I work as a nurse and my Administrator allows my DH to bring DS to my work to nurse as often as he needs to, but it would be nice for him to take a bottle at least every now and then when I work, cause DH is getting aggrivated with having to pack up DS and bring him to me every 2 1/2 hours. We have tried just about every bottle/nipple known to man..Gerber, Evenflo, Playtex Nursers, Nuby, Etc.. Anyone have any suggestions on getting this child to cooperate?

Thanks Paige. I bawled last night. I just hope I won't have to be away from her anytime soon.

Definitely, mama...That's terrible....We went through 2 tough days with ds when I returned to work....And after a lot of crying and fussing he took the bottle....We always used to Dr. Brown's - warmed the nip and he would take it....Now he's used to it - but loves his boobie more !

It breaks your heart - I was telling DH I was going to quit b/c DS wouldn't take the bottle....Didn't go over very well....

    Again....
