Default shorter more frequent feeds ok??

My daughter is 7 weeks old. She has reflux and nurses only about 15 mins total
some times more sometimes a little less. She also has gas. Occassionally she does have greenish stools but they appear green in the diaper not when I wipe her. She has at least 7-8 wet diapers a day and > 4 soiled diapers. She eats about every 2 hours sometimes less often sometimes more. Is her shorter nursing times ok??

"Watch the baby, not the clock"

Her wet diaper and poopy diaper output appear to be right on mark. She's gaining weight well? If so then it sounds like you're doing exactly what you should be. Keep up the great work, mama!

I got worried too when my daughter started feeding for only about 15 minutes or so around 6 weeks of age. I went to the lactation consultant and found out she consumed 3.7 oz. in a 15 minute period. She just became much more efficient which is probably what is going on with your daughter. Good luck! It sounds like she is doing fine.
