    Default pumping at work tips

I will be returning to work PT in less than a month and I plan on pumping while i'm there 1-2 times a day. I do have access to a fridge and sink and I have a nice pump with travel bag. Are there any tips that could help me out and make the trasition easier?

ETA: this is probably the MOST important thing you'll need to know
Print the PDF version on this page to give to DH and DCP. It's very important to properly bottlefeed a BF baby:

Court, I know what you mean, I was extremly lucky that when I went back to work Silas stayed with a SAHM and was her only child (other than her own 3 yo) and she had BF all 3 of her children for varrying lengths of time, she was really very supportive and knew what she was doing, there is no way I would have made the first year without her, I hadn't even found this site yet....

Thank you for the advice, i'll def pass it on to my DCP, I'm fortunate and have a great caregiver. She works out of her home and has kids she bf herself so she'll understand.

What can i do on my end of things to make it easier when it comes to pumping during the work day and pumping to stash for later? And tips to make it easier, faster or go more smoothly?

they have more to do with what will help you during the work day

When I first went back my lo was 4 mo and I tried to pump at least every 3 hours, and when my supply seemed to be too low i added a midnight pump session, have you started to build a stash yet? or practiced pumping yet?

I've been trying to pump but due to a surgery what little i had was used while he was in daddy's care. It's just hard to find the time to pump since he likes to nurse all the time or be held. I haven't tried to pump while holding him but it might become a necessity since I haven't had a chance to stash any away which really concerns me.

You can nurse on one sidevand pump in the other and/or add an early morning pump session and/or one after DS goes down for the longer stretch at night.
