Default My former nursling asked for milk this morning :(

DD hasn't nursed in a few weeks and hasn't asked at all for it. Well this morning before she left for the sitters she was sitting on my lap and I'm wearing a vneck top and she pulled down my top saw my breast and said milk. I said yes, that's where milk comes from. She said, "Dis milk", "Want dis milk!" And I had to say no that milk went bye-bye. She got down off my lap and went and played. Part of me is happy to know that she hasn't forgotten where the yummy milk comes from and it warms my heart that she asked. But it also makes me sad that we are done.

    Weaning is so bitter sweet!

mama. This is a good reminder for me that, even though many days I feel like I am really ready to be done nursing DD1, I should cherish it while it lasts. You should be proud! And you will be nursing another LO in the not-so-distant future.
