    TO the OP another route to take in addition to speaking with your hubby and doc is call your childs doctor and get their take on it.

    Because of all the different meds I was on during and after the surgery. I just didn't feel comfortable nursing during that time. I would have probably been ok, I just made the decision I thought was right at the time. If I had to do it again, I might make done some more research to see if I would have been ok continuing to nurse.
