Default Whoo-Hoo! Positive feedback from a doctor

We often take a lot of cr@p from seemingly educated people for "extended" breastfeeding. I wanted to share a different experience I had today.

I saw an older endocrinologist (MD) today, and when he asked me about my children I told him I was still breastfeeding my nearly three year old twins. It almost floored me when he said, "That's great! That's really wonderful." I was stunned. Sad that he seems to be the exception in the medical world, and my internist thinks it's weird. But I was so glad that someone out there wasn't shocked, and was even pleased.
