Default When to change the membranes?

I am using a hospital grade Lactina... I've had it for a little over a month... Parts were brand new... When should I check the membranes or replace them? Once a month? I pump often (though not as much as I should be) so they are getting used and washed a good 4-6 times a day, minimum.

    TIA!
