Default can low supply be due to decongestant?

I was told to take a decongestant. Can that affect my supply? I pump and will probably only pump out about 10 ounces today. I usually pump about 11 or 12. Is there any cause for concern?

How old is baby? How many times a day do you pump? Are you nursing as well?

I know that sudafed is "recommended" if you are trying to dry up your milk.

yeah might not be the wisest of ideas....
But your supply should bonce back in a day or two of extra nursing and extra fluids

I nurse or pump 9 times per day, actually 10 ( I do an extra pumping at night to have mroe for the day). I was nervous about the decongestant because teh baby seemed extra hungry yesterday. He is four months old

if it were me, I would ditch the decongestant and follow the tips on kellymom.

When I had a cold recently I drank a lot of fenugreek tea. Good luck, hope you feel better!
