    Default How to increase milk supply after a blocked duct issue

    I had a blokcked duct 2 days back in my left breast.I resolved it through hot compress but the supply has not come to the same levels before. How long does it take before the supply becomes normal ? I am a litlle worried

    you should see more milk in a day or two more.

    In the meantime I am worried my baby is not getting enough milk. How do I figure that ? Should I feed her fornula?

    I wouldn't unless things are looking bad, she's not wetting enough, looking dehydrated (no tears etc). Keep nursing and if you have a pump, you can pump that side too.

    Thank you for the replies. Its increasing slowly and I am trying to feed the baby on that side more often which is helping.
