    Default Selling Oversupply

    Hi ladies....
I'm not sure if I'm posting in the correct place, but.... has anyone here ever sold/given away their frozen milk supply? If so, how did you do it? Where did you do it? What are the guidelines surrounding selling/giving breastmilk? I have far too much frozen since my DS decided he's rather nurse exclusively and reverse cycle.... I was so afraid he'd quit early like my first, that I over compensated! I'd much prefer to help someone else out than waste all that precious milk!
Thanks for any advice anyone has!

It is not legal/ethical to sell human milk, but you can donate it through milkshare. I donated about 700oz this way to a gay couple's adopted baby. Here is the link:

I donated over about 8000 ounces through HMBANA. They are a non-profit milk bank, and I believe most of their milk goes to premature or sick babies in hospitals. They have a fairly strict screening process that includes blood work and signatures from your OB/ped.

Do you have extra milk? Consider donating!
