    Default Domperidone

Has anyone been on it? Did it work? Any side effects?
The clinic suggested that next week if I was still having issues then I could be put on it.

    Thank you

At what point did you start taking it? I think they wanted to wait till next week because apparently it works better after 5 weeks rather then sooner? I'm not sure, but DD will be 5 weeks on Sunday.

I started the Domperidone yesterday. The clinic assured me that its very safe and has very few if any side effects. But then the bottle on it says : WARNIG: Do not use if Breastfeeding! Now I know the FDA does not approve it's use for breastfeeding purposes (apparently for no good reason since the cardiac issues were with seriously ill patients who took high doses through IV), but it still irks me everytime I look at the bottle I'm just so concerned that this could hurt my LO in some way even though its necessary right now in order to EBF

I don't know if its coincidence but i've taken the 3 pills 3 times yesterday and twice today and I swear there's a difference in the amount of letdowns i'm having (which is why it was prescribed in the first place.)

all medications and supplements have to warn against taking while pregnant or bf because of liability.

i am on it as well, it has had a real positive affect on my supply.

took it with first ds at about 5 months, was the only way i could pump enough during the day for him. i will take it again if needed. no side effects for me.

you could put them in a pill organizer case if looking at the bottle worries you!
