I wonder sometimes if itʻs thrush, but I have no symptoms in her or me, and the pain only lasts the first few minutes of nursing then goes away. Wouldnʻt thrush hurt the entire feeding? In between feeding, my nipples feel great. One side is much worse than the other, and sometimes the ends of my nipples look white, like there is no circulation. Cold weather makes it hurt more, and when Iʻm warm itʻs bearable. I think it will go away as everyone said in another month or so. Until then I chant "itʻs all for her" each time as I wince in pain when she latches on.
