    Default Milkies Milk Saver

Has anyone tried the Milkies Milk-Saver? I just saw it advertised for the first time and I'm curious as to how well it works.
Stay at home mom to my 2 boys:
    R - born 4/20/08, nursed for 20 months
G - born 8/6/11, EPd for 4 months, until he refused the bottle!
    Loving CDing this time around!

Now I'm curious too! YOu sure would have to leak a lot of milk to make it worth it though!

I saw those too. Very interesting. I don't leak that much milk, but I'm curious to know if anyone has tried them.

Oh I used something very similar made by Avent called breast shells. They were so great. I managed to store up loads of milk in the early months when I would leak a lot. Sometimes I'd get maybe 60mls/2oz each feed. So over a day that added up to a lot of milk worth keeping!

Definitely worth it if you leak!

Bumping an old thread to say that I absolutely LOVE this product, and when I showed it to the lactation nurse at one of my consultations, she thought it was great, too.

Using just this product while I nursed, I froze probably 200+ oz in my daughter's first 8 weeks.

If you've got overactive letdown or oversupply, this thing is an absolute goldmine.

My daughter is a little over 2 months now, and I still use it every time I nurse at home. (Use in public is not all that discreet unless you have GIANT boobs, which I don't, and are wearing a big shirt, which I also don't.) Sometimes I get a little, sometimes I get a lot, but it's ALWAYS worth saving every drop! It's especially helpful now that I've gone back to work and generally come up a little bit short on my pumps... This helps me make up that volume while I nurse her at home, which is a lot easier than trying to squeeze in an extra pump session every day.
