Congrat's to you both!! Toddler nursing is a wonderful experience and really reinforces a solid bond between mother and baby. I am thankful to still be nursing my 3 yr. 8 mos. old son and his little sister who is 11 months. It's been quite a ride but worth every last minute of energy.
There are so many funny quotes but this one came to mind tonight: My son (early 2's) asked me at breakfast time for chocolate milk. I went on a long explanation to him why we do not give him chocolate milk. He looked at me funny and said he was asking to nurse. I am sure I looked puzzled when he quickly informed me that "mommy-your milk tastes like chocolate milk". My husband often jokes about "my choc. milk" and threatens to use it in his coffee.
Enjoy your toddler time!!
