    Default Change in sucking

My dd is 12 weeks old, and besides thrush, we have had a pretty easy time breastfeeding. Recently I have noticed that her initial sucking before letdown has become really chompy. That's the best way I can describe it. Does anybody know why she might be doing this and what I can do to correct it?

Any chance that the chomping is your baby's way of trying to control a fast letdown of milk? (Sorry, that's all I can think of... )
Coolest thing my big girl said recently: "How can you tell the world is moving when you are standing on it?"
Coolest thing my little girl sang recently: "I love dat one-two pupples!"

That could be it. She only does this at the very beginning of our nursing sessions.
