I've been hearing a lot about Fenugreek, oatmeal, regular milk, and some other things. I was wondering the following:
What process should I take to up my milk production? What should I be consuming to up my milk production? What are the side effects of the consumed items? How will the side effects effect my children? How often should I consume said items? How long should I consume said items? What is the optimum schedule for increasing my milk supply? (To include house chores, and working out.) Is there anything else I should know about increasing my milk supply?(I.E. things that can hinder it)
Here is some info on me and why these questions were raised.
I'm 21 and had twins. My left 'tit', as my dh calls it, produces a lot less than my right. I'm lucky to get less than or equal to a half ounce from it. My right, hehe, it produces equal to or more than four ounces. That's even after the kids have feasted upon that breast.
I don't mean one kid goes at one feeding, I mean both go at it at that feeding. If you are wondering how I do it, one normally sleeps while the other is eating. After child A, Kori, is done feeding Child B, Dain, wakes up and begins to feed on it. I have tried this same senario with my left tit.
