Default How much milk does 15 month olds need?

My 15 month old boy doesn't like pumped breastmilk or formula. I suspect that he's allergic to cow milk. So only milk source is breastmilk. Now he's at a daycare 3 days a week, about 6 hours a day without having milk at all. I nurse him in the morning (long session) and about 3-4 times during the day (short session) (when he's not at the daycare) and then before he goes to bed. And sometime once in the night. I wonder if he has enough milk? I know that my milk supply is lower than before but I feel let down almost everytime he nurses.

How many oz. he needs per day? What if he doesn't have enough, what should I do?

If you are nursing 3-4 times a day then he should be getting enough "milk." He can also get calcium from cheese and yogurt too.

    From Kelly mom site:

"One study found average breastmilk intake to be 30 oz per day (875 ml/day; 93% of total intake) at 7 months and 19 oz (550 ml/day; 50% of total energy intake) at 11-16 months.

Several studies have measured breastmilk intake for babies between 12 and 24 months and found typical amounts to be 14-19 oz per day (400-550 mL per day). Studies looking at breastmilk intake between 24 and 36 months have found typical amounts to be 10-12 oz per day (300-360 mL per day)."
