    It happened really fast. She went from still nursing fairly frequently during the day to not asking anymore- seemingly over night.

    BTDT and with ya. One positive thing that came from his weaning was that he became affectionate in other ways: hugs, kisses, tickles,etc. And the nice thing is this opened up a relationship between D and DH.

    Parts of me are thankful we weaned right before I got pregnant so i didn't have to go through this when I was so much more emotional.. because reading about it make me cry for you.. Good news you have lots of hugs and kisses and cuddle lovi time....

    Mother - Wife - Artist - Cook - Writer - EnvironMENTAList - Cloth Diaperer (but we are soooo done with diapers) - Organic Health Nut...I'm sure there's more.

    DD1 - 12/15/05 Breastfed for 16.5 months
    DD2 - 8/6/07 Breastfed for 3 whole years and 3 little, extra days.

    yeah! you did great and weaning was smooth and on his own... perfect. Too bad they cant really give us any warning good for you guys
