Hi, I've been nursing my daughter for a year and 3 weeks now (and I'm just now getting here). I think my fertility has returned. My husband and I used the sympto-thermal method of NFP before I got pregnant (on purpose). Since the baby we've kind of been winging it (I know, foolish.) Anyway, recently I had my first real mucous patch in a very long time. I hadn't been taking my temperature, so I don't know if I ovulated or not, but the patch was over about 3 days ago, and my lactation plummeted about 2 days ago. Even when I feed her in the morning after a long night's sleep, I feel like there can't be enough to make her full. Is this normal? I can't be pregnant, because work has kept him away since before the mucous patch started, and it was fairly long. I don't mind weaning her in the nearish future, but I wanted to do it a bit more gradually. That, and right now she only has her 2 bottom teeth and I was hoping she would have better chewing capacity before I weaned her. Any thoughts?
