    Default Oatmeal help

I've read repeatedly on here that oatmeal helps boost supply, but I hate oatmeal Is there any way to make it taste good? Or is there something that's like oatmeal that tastes good that I could eat instead?

I like to add fresh berries and some milk and honey to my oatmeal.
Have you tried mother's milk tea? I had pretty good luck with the tea.

Oatmeal cookies! There is actually a recipe for lactation boosting cookies here.

Or if you are eating plain old oatmeal, you could stir in chocolate chips, brown sugar, cinnamon, maple syrup, jams, jellies, preserves. If my brain worked today, I'm sure the possibilities would be endless!

IIRC, there was a thread on here a while back about what LLLadies favorite stir-ins for oatmeal, but, for the life of me, I cannot find it.

I really like the Oatmeal Squares cereal that Quaker makes. I'm not sure if they boost supply the same way (ate them everyday, but had oversupply to start with), but it might be worth a try. They are good either dry or with milk.

I don't like rolled oats. (they are fine to bake w/ but i don't like them in the traditional sense) I use steel cut oats and love them.

This is my favorite recipe - http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/a...html?rsrc=like

for a really hearty breakfeast i mix in plain yogurt, a bit of honey and some walnuts. It really is delicious. Once fall comes I'll start making it again.
