    Default Fruits Only

    Hey ladies.....

DS is eating a few solids, but still isn't fond of it. He will eat 5-10 bites and he's done, UNLESS it's fruit. He doesn't ever want anything but fruits. I know BM is very sweet, but will he ever like veggies, meats, etc....

DH and I eat everything, neither of us are picky. Is there anything I can do to help with this?

I'm also still concerned he isn't eating enough. He's 10 months now and we try to give him solds 3X's a day. There are some days he refuses solids.

Continue to offer a variety of things. Variety Variety Variety

He will take to other foods soon enough -especailly when they're consitently offered.

Try a search on askdrsears dot come under "solids" and you'll get quite a few good links back with good helpful info

    How often are you nursing?

And when you read about you may have to offer a new food 10 times before your child tries it...substitute 30-50 for the word ten. I find they eventually do try everything but some foods take a long time (even when they ate them as infants they refuse them as toddlers).

Keep trying...most kids eat carbs and fruit and you have to work a little harder for meat & veg. Tomato sauce was my trick for meat in the early days.
