    Unhappy Sore Nipples?

I'm still breastfeeding my 11 month old baby and just recently my nipples have gotten very sore. I'm wondering if your nipples get sore when you are ovulating? I just started my cycle again last month, and I believe that I may be ovulating now. I'm also thinking maybe it is thrush? Any suggestions?

I would think your cycle may have something to do with it. You may also look at your lo's latch. When mine got older, her latch started to get a little sloppy. Are you noticing anything else different about your nipples that may indicate thrush?

My nipples got sore twice when nursing DD1, the first time was when my period returned, the second was when I was pregnant.
