    Default One breast producing more...

I noticed yesterday that when Colton was nursing on my right breast he was very uncomfortable and stressed out - making a lot of grunting noises as well....I had a feeling he wasn't getting enough milk from that side, so I pumped today to see what would happen and I got 2oz from the left side and only 1oz from the right. Know of any way to increase the supply on the right?

Most of us have one breast that produces more than the other. You may want to block feed and feed on the lighter side twice in a row to every one time you feed other side to even things out......

I have been trying to even out my boobs since day 1...it is an exercise in futility. I always start my DS on the left side (smaller one) and even tried pumping the left side after every feeding to increase the production...to no avail. I've just been resigned to have my right side be a DD and my left side a D. Good luck though. Just keep nursing him and he'll get enough, even if its not the same amount from each.
