    Default OMG! Tears of joy!

So for those that have seen my threads regarding the subject, Nolan and I have been having a hard time with the nursing lately. Biting... nursing strike... But he would ALWAYS nurse at night. Last week he refused me for the first time at night, and I have never been so sad!

    Last night he nursed!!!

I am a grown woman and have had many highs and lows, and I have to say that was one of the best feelings I have ever had in my life!

    Thanks for letting me share!!

(oh, and he's STILL biting! )

Good for you mama. Poo on the biting. I'm sure you posted why somewhere but, is he teething?

Yes....it seems like he has been his whole life so far. He has 6 now and they just seem to never stop coming!

We've tried almost everything...now I am just being patient...

I was so thankful when DS got his eye teeth around 18 months and the biting/prolonged striking was over. He was on strike for 10 days with those! Hang in there--the teeth do eventually stop coming.

Biting is never easy because there is an intimacy to this relationship and biting actually causes trust issues. Don't just be patient. Take him off. Say OUCH very loud so he understands you are in pain. Cry if you have to. This is a dance. Your feelings are important too. I always encourage women to work thru biting. But not at your expense. You need to let your nursing partner know that you are being hurt. And that that isn't OK.

    Way too lazy for formula
