I just started to breastfeed my 3 month old again after exclusively pumping for over 2 months. Breastfeeding is going well and she hasn't gone back to a bottle in 2 days (YEAH!!). However, because we're "relearning" nursing all over again there are some bad habits that needs to be broken and my nipples are paying the price. Mostly my LO is latching on well initially, but she latches off or half latches on during the feeding which is causing sore nipples. When there is a fast let down she'll latch off really fast without breaking suction because she can't handle the amount of milk. Or in the midst of feeding she'll re-adjust her latch and does not have all of my aerola in her mouth, so I'll help by readjusting the latch correctly.

What can I do to help her latch on better? I am so happy that she is nursing again and I don't want to stop because my nipples are too sore for nursing.
