    Default Poop question

My LO had a mucousy poop today. I just gave him rice cereal for the first time. Is this something to worry about?

I remember when my LO had a super mucusy diaper, I was really worried, called her doc and was told 'it just happens sometimes'. It turned out to be a one time thing, so I didn't worry.

I'd probably hold off on any more cereal for awhile and see if the poops improve. It might just be a coincidence - sometimes colds or other illnesses caused it with my kids - or it might be a sign that his insides just aren't quite ready for solids yet.

He has been fine since that one time. Maybe it was teething...he's been drooling up a storm but no teeth yet. Thanks for all your help.
