    Default baby led solids

I've started my 6mo LO on solids this week. I steamed squash for him this week and am planning to try peas next week. Just wondering about fridge storage of steamed veggies. How long should they keep in the fridge?

Most people would probably say 1-2 days, but really any wet food if it has been cooked to the point of being sterilized will last 4-5 days in the fridge.

We prefer to puree a bunch though and freeze it into ice cube trays. Dinner then consists of popping out cubes and heating them up. It lets you mix and match as well. We do a mix of pureed and solids. Solids are typically whatever we are eating and the bulk is puree from the freezer

Thanks - we're planning to puree a few different things to freeze this weekend when we have more time. That and finally get a highchair!
