    Default bread/toast- food size?

I keep hearing people mention their lo's eat bread or toast- my dd is 9 mos old, so I think she probably would be ok with it- but how big should the pieces be? I want her to be able to feed herself, but don't want it to be a choking hazard. Not sure if this follow the french fry size rule like in BLS or if different foods should be different sizes.

I cut mine in strips- maybe 4 or 5 strips from one piece of bread. It was a big hit for us, she loved (still loves) her toast!

We do strips too, or "fingers".
