    9 days is very early, there is much hope you can get the baby back to the breast!

    Just checking in. Remember, the more you nurse, the more milk you make. I've read about lots of mamas that have done what you're doing and succeeded. So keep it up. And if you do get a pump (hand expression is great, too), make sure it's a good one. You might even rent a hospital grade pump until you're exclusively breast feeding. It will be worth it--makes a big difference in supply. Ask your ped if they can write you a prescription for one.
