    Default Less milk over time?

I exclusively pump for DD who is now 8 1/2 mo. It seems that over the past week she is drinking less milk...recently (the past few weeks) she has been practicing a lot of things - crawling, pulling up, etc. COuld it be that she is so busy with her learning that she is less interested in drinking her bottle? She seems to be having plenty of wet diapers. Also, we have intro. chunks of solid foods which she LOVES! - Is she just naturally weaning herself? Sorry this is kind of long and scattered but I'm just lost and would like to hear some of your experiences.

Personally I would back off a bit on the solids if you think they are replacing any of the BM you're giving. Solids should be in addition to the BM. However, at 8 months they are super busy and I remember my own son nursing a bit less during the day because he was hitting so many milestones at once.

    HTH and good luck!

I am going through the same thing with my LO. AF has returned today and my supply has been down, so it worked out well that she was not super hungry with my supply down. My LO is getting ready to walk any day now, and she is talking up a storm. I think that they just are trying to work on all of these new skills, and BM is just not that important.

I just keep offering her the bottle, and if she takes it, she takes it.
    All I do is
But I could not be happier!!

My LO is doing the same thing. I have backed down on the solids a little, which is helping a little. Her bottom two teeth just peeked through the other day, and now she seems to be nursing a little more, thank goodness. So it might be the teething too. I have read that they will have a decrease in appetite when they are really teething.
