Default BPA - Bottles and Babies R Us

If anyone has bottles that have BPA in them. Babies R US is taking them back and GIVING you BPA Free ones. I had some Dr. Browns (that we never use) and I brought them back and got more Born Free bottles. You don't need a recepit or anything they will just take them back.

in the US? do they have to still be in the packaging? is it just the bottles, or do you need to take the full setups back, bottle, neck piece and nipples?...

Sorry yes, I can only speak of Babies R US in the USA. You have to bring back the full bottle all pieces including the caps. It does not need to be in the orig. pkg and you do not have to have any recepits or pkg at all.

This is all bottles not just the Dr. Browns.

Is this a company-wide policy? I've heard it's best to call your local store before making the trip to see if that particular one is accepting them back. I just don't want anyone to get there and be refused!

I just called the company and they said this was only for the month of May. And now you need the receipt and original packaging for a return.

    Just a sec....

I just called my local store and they said they are accepting the bottles back but you have to have all the parts, even the tops/lids; you have to have all of the bottles that came in the package; you have to buy other bottles; and you have to pay the difference if they cost more. HTH! But I agree with pp, call ahead!

I think it's a hit or miss with who works there and is taking care of you. I went to one location in NJ (I live in NY and on the border) and the NJ store said they wont do a store credit and it will be even steven but I could trade Dr. Brown for Born Free and pay any differnce their might be. They didn't have in stock so I went to the one by my house and waited for them to restock. When they did the girl took all of mine and allowed me to get Born Free. I returend 7 Dr. Brown and got 2 Born Free 9oz and a 2 pack of stage 2 nipples.

Sorry I thought this was a standard thing.
