Default Vomiting babe - please help!

LO (10.5 months, 90% EBF, just trying solids now) almost certainly has 2.5 yr old sister's virus.

He doesn't keep any milk down and is getting weak.

Better to medicate so he can digest and get his strength up, ot let it run its course like this?

I can only call the ped's office this PM (Italy...) It doesn't seem serious enough to take him to A&E.

Thanks for any experience on this!

    Thanks for the link!
LO seems to be keeping some milk down now, and is sleeping lots, so appears to be getting better, fingers crossed.

Keep BF and BF, in times like this. Even the BF itself seemed to make the sickness worst, and when you offer them water they refused to drink it b/c the breast is their only comfort.

It's awful when they are being sick isn't it? There's huge never ending piles of dirty clothes washing everywhere that will take weeks to go through!

I use every single towels I owned and I lined them everywhere, I put them in my babies cot or on my bed (I co-sleep), so every time the baby puked I just change the towel if I didn't reach for the bowl in time. Don't bother dressing your baby either, just turn the heating on if it's cold and use a blanket instead.

Don't worry you will get there. Hang on!

I am glad it sounds like your LO is now over the worst of it.
