    Default sweaty nurser

ok...i know it has been getting super hot out, but my lo has beads of sweat all over his little head and his hair gets all wet when nursing....i notice it most during his feeding closer to bedtime. i thought it was because of the bath right before, but today we just skipped the bath, b/c he seemed extra tired. does anyone else have a sweaty nurser...is it pretty normal?

I think it's normal and didn't notice until you mentioned, but my dd seems to sweat more when nursing at night and definitely more when she sleeps. Come to think of it, so do I. Hmmm. Interesting. Maybe someone who has explanations can explain.

My son has a sweaty head! Sometimes my arm is drenched with sweat, and his hair looks like he just took a bath! I just hope it doesn't mean he'll be an overly sweaty teenage boy!

yep, same here. I have to put a spit rag between my arm and his head, or we are both soaked! Been like this for as long as I can remember.

My son sweats while nursing too although I haven't really noticed if its more at night or not. What I have noticed is that he sweats in his sleep. Every time he sleeps or even naps there he leaves a little circle of sweat where his head was...it's very odd.
