Thread: Bitting..

    Default Bitting..

ALL the time lately! He's 13 months and hasn't done this since he was like 8 months. I'm guessing it's teething He will also clamp down and slide off *owch* and when I say "don't bite, that hurts mommy when you bite" he laughs now (which is kinda cute)!

Now what do I do? TIA

My LO only did it a few times. we just used teething tablets and massaged gums prior to nursing and the no biting mommy and putting her down for a second worked for us. I hope it resolves soon

btdt, stay ont op of it and squash it as fast as possible. Nipple biting can be painful. Are you unlatching immediately after it happens? I used to plunk him down on his bottom and say " All done! " if he bite.

Will do! Thanks! That's actually the same thing I started doing, once he bites I tell him "no bite, that hurts mama" and plop him on the floor. He really doesn't like that!

I'm gonna check out those links. My girl is a fierce biter, luckily on all my parts except the breast. She bites my arm as a signal to nurse and it's all bruised up. I swear it looks like my man is putting the beatdown on me.
