    Default Nursing strike... need help

I think my baby has been on a nursing strike for a couple of weeks. She will only nurse during the night when she is mostly asleep. I can't get her to nurse any other time, and I really miss it. I have to pump and feed her out of the bottle, which poses obvious inconveniences. I'm at home with her all day every day, and I am MORE than happy to nurse her however often/much she wants.

As far as I can figure out, she wants to look around instead of facing me to nurse. Either that or I have weird boobs or something.

She is even getting to where she doesn't even want me to hold her while she drinks her bottle. Does she just not like me?

    Please help me fix this.

If she seems to be liking the bottle too much, you might have to find a different way to give her your milk and keep her immobile. A small, open cup might be an option. Here's more ideas about that http://www.kellymom.com/bf/pumping/a...e-feeding.html Sometimes it can help to not give bottles or pacifiers so their sucking need can only be met at the breast. Is she teething? That can also be a factor in a strike. Have you tried letting her sit up facing you to nurse strattled on your leg? Have you tried the ideas for helping with strikes? http://www.kellymom.com/bf/concerns/...to-breast.html

Strikes are so rough on moms! Hang in there!
