Hmmm ... there are some great old threads along the lines of "what is your LO eating". When I have time I'll go hunting and bump them.

Yogurt is generally okay around 9 or 10 mo. UNLESS you're concerned about a milk ALLERGY - in which case you should do ZERO dairy, get some testing, and wait until after LO is at least 12 mo.

Ohh I agree w/ Andrea and go for some meat. Do turkey and chicken, those can be pretty fun.

We do green beans and snap peas, as well as cantelope and honeydew. Peas and rice are fun to chase around, and she enjoys grapes too, but they have to be sliced pretty small for us or she chokes.

Blueberries (I cut them in half), little pieces of beef patties, steamed green beans.

I'm going to have to say tofu. We didn't do it when he was younger because I have always thought it was quite disgusting. But DJ really seems to like it and I'm sure it would have made a great 1st food. You can slice it for them, it's soft, it can taste really bland or be seasoned. Yeah. I 2nd the vote for tofu.

Tofu is soy, right? We need to wait on that as well. Loving all the other suggestions!
