Default Any recipes for homemade baby cereals?

I'm getting ready to start rice cereal with my LO and was wondering if anyone had any recipes or alternative ideas for rice and other cereals..would like to make things from scratch, but am not sure if the rice cereal you by at the store has some kind of magic ingredient in it.

I just give DD oatmeal when I make it for myself. I just make the oats, omitting the salt, and then mash it with a fork. If I'm feeling ambitious, I'll pump a little
BM to mix with it, otherwise I just use water. Sounds gross to me, but she seems to love it ! I have heard of people grinding the oats first, but DD likes the thicker foods, so I don't make it any more difficult than it needs to be.
