Default Returning to solids after illness

We think our LO had a stomach flu this past weekend, she wanted NOTHING to do with anything but rice cereal and a little EBM. (We are exclusive pumpers) She took in about 16 oz of BM for the past 3 days and a little rice cereal for breakfast, lunch and dinner. She had some pretty brutal diarrhea so I hoped the rice cereal would bind her a little bit.

Now she is back to feeling better, so when will she be interested in solids again?? We tried her favorite dinner tonight, and she cried every time it was on the spoon. She wanted the cereal, but no real food. No interest in applesauce either.

    Thanks in advance.

Just continue to casually offer it - she'll know when she's ready and as long as she is nursing often, all is well
