    Default breastfeeding and cancer

I just found out I am pregnant (6 weeks) and I have breast cancer. I have a 21month old nursling. I'm learning alot about treatment, the baby and placenta. Some chemotherapy will not hurt the baby. But I need to know once I start chemo could I still nurse my daughter and can I nurse my newborn if I'm still receiving chemo? Does anyone know any info out there about this situation? I know it's rare. But the few things I have found say you cannot nurse. What other options do I have?

you might want to call your local leader they can get you in touch with the pl department of lll. They help with medical questions that leaders don't have the answers too.
