Default Woke with a sore breast.

This morning I woke and my left breast was killing me. It got worse all day and it moved from closer to the areola. I nursed dd2 on the breast all day for fear of a clogged duct. I have no fever or flu like signs, so I am guessing not mastisi(sp). Since the pain is no were near as bad as it was this morning am I out of the clear of a clogged duct?

No moderate fever? No flu-like symptoms? You don't feel like you've been hit by a Mac truck? Then, you're right--it's probably a plug.

    HTH!

ETA: Missed part of your question--you may feel a slight bruised feeling (sore, but different than the plug) even after it is resolved. That's normal. Pain and a lump is not (obviously).
