    Question Frozen BM

The storage guidelines for BM in self-contained freezer unit of a refrigerator is 3-4 months. I was curious if anyone has used milk that was older than the suggested times?

Those are guidelines. If it still smells and tastes okay then it is probably okay to use it. I would keep my milk in the self contained freezer for a while then move it to the deep freeze. There are not really any guidelines for when you do that. I would just make sure that it smelled okay before I gave it to DD.
