Default How much is he really drinking?

If I can pump 3oz from one breast at a pump session, how much would my son actually be eating when nursing?

we realy cann't tell thats the only bad thing about nursing.
IF your baby is having the wet diapars and poopy diapars that he needs to grow then you know he is getting the milk that he needs.
I would say also that it could be diffent each day and from feed to feed.

I wonder this exact same thing!!!

when did you pump? right after a feeding? in which case you may get less

did you nurse from one, pump from the other? in which case, you may get the roughly the same amount

is this pumping instead of nursing? in which case you may get more than what they get

NOTE: this has been my experience, which is limited to my 13-week old

the good thing is - if you don't give them enough (in a bottle), they'll let you know right away!
