    Unhappy GI bug

My son, who is 8 months, has had green, mucousy stools for a week. I took him to the Dr yesterday and had a stool sample checked which was pretty much negative for anything. Now he has been running fevers and vomited this morning. Another pediatrition (by phone) said it can take up to two weeks for some illnesses to pass. He refuses anything but nursing. I've been giving him one side and pumping the other. I'm so worried about him! Any suggestions welcome.

ITs common for kids to know when they should be eating solids, he'll get his appetite for solids back when hes fealing beter.
