    Default yobaby yogurt?

I was thinking about introducing yogurt to my lo now 9 1/2 months and was wondering if this is okay? Also we are in Canada and I don't think we can buy yobaby here. Any other good yogurt for lo's?

We started DD on yogurt at about 7 months, so you should be okay. We never used Yobaby, because I think it has too much sugar. I've always given her plain organic yogurt. Sometimes I mix it with her fruit purees to sweeten it without all the sugar, but she likes it plain too.

we buy the pints of organic whole milk yogurt, and then mix it with unsweetened applesauce. by the time ds liked yogurt, those little cups were too small!

thanks I didn't know that yobaby had added sugar. I am really trying to stay away from sugar. I will have to check out my local planet organic and see what they have.

Forgot to mention this. We make our own from organic milk, and it costs about half as much.

My pedi told me that any yogurt with whole milk is good for babies over 6 months. I like the yobaby ones!

It actually has 17grams of sugar in each container! I just started buying the tubes of yogurt for my 2yr old by the same company Stoneyfield. They only have 11grams of sugar in them. We freeze them and and cut them in half to feed him as a "popsicle." I was horrified at the thought of my BABY having 17 grams of milled sugar in one sitting. I still am. Even toddlers on that much sugar are scary.

    Way too lazy for formula
