I just realized (after my baby drank almost 3 ounces) that the milk I gave her was refrigerated too long. I expressed it back in February, froze it and put it in the fridge to thaw on Sunday night. I gave a bunch of thawed milk to the sitter on Monday morning who gave me back these 3-4 ounces. I thought I had a couple of days to give it to her so I gave her the bottle about an hour ago. Then as I was in the kitchen, I happened to see the breast milk storage guidelines on my refrigerator (should have looked BEFORE I gave her the bottle, but I really thought I had a couple of days) and saw that I should have tossed it after 24 hours!!!! There's still a little milk left in the bottle and it doesn't smell spoiled. It doesn't smell exactly fresh, but not spoiled. She drank it happily. Should I take her to the doctor or what should I look for? I would absolutely die if she gets sick!!!!
