    I know that a lot of people don't agree with a pacifier, but with my lo we had to. She wanted to suck all the time, and wanted nothing to do with being on the breast if she was full. So in order to keep us all sane we gave her a paci. It works great for us!! I would say try putting him on whenever he wants to suck, and if he doesn't want that, you can use your finger or a paci!

    And good for you for keeping on even when you felt like quitting! You are awesome!!!

    thank you so much girls, you really have no idea how much your support has meant... The last few days it would've been so easy to just throw in the towel but your encouragement has made such a huge difference for me. Just knowing that so many of you have overcome different struggles makes me think I can too!

    And right now, he's actually taking a nap! He hasn't done that after nursing for almost two weeks! (the tv is actually off and I've been able to play with my daughter!)So I think things are finally starting to turn around! I know there will still be struggles along the way but just making it this far makes me feel like I can handle them. Thanks girls

    today has been that turn around day for us!!! he is nursing so well, is so much less gassy without the formula and hasn't needed any supplements!! it's been an answer to many prayers!!! i'm so happy! i just hope i never get this infection again!!!
