Default Update to my situation at daycare

As most of you know from my previous post...my LO started DC on monday and has been having a hard time. Well today was better. I showed up and eventhough he wouldnt take a bottle from them he wasn't crying. I sat down and tried giving him a bottle myself and he took 2 oz of it. I left and came home and he was acting hungry. I fixed another bottle (since he would be having one at daycare) to feed him. He took all 3 oz the first time i offered it and fell asleep. Now do you guys think I should offer him the bottle for a lot of feedings or do you think i can breastfeed him when he would be home after daycare?

Yeah - glad to hear that today went better!

I always nursed my DS when we were together. He only got bottles at home if I wasn't around and DH or grandparents were taking care of DS.

We now know he can take a bottle. Enjoy nursing him for a bit, you both need the bonding and good feelings of breastfeeding, to help you recover from the stresses of the past few days.

I'm so glad things are getting better.

I also nursed when I was with my lo and kept the bottles for day care use- it's still the first thing she wants when I pick her up every day.
