    Default Breastfeeding and Diflucan

    Hi,
I believe I have a thrush infection and my MD gave my nystatin cream. After several days, and little relief, he precribed me Diflucan. He said it was okay to take when breastfeeding, but on the info from the pharmacy, it says NOT to breastfeed while taking it. Any thoughts??

I suffered from a thrush infection for over three months ... ouch! It is safe to take while breast-feeding. See:

    Hope that helps!
